“Double, Double, (no) Toil (but) Bubbles.”
Is honestly the best way to describe the latest addition to Clinique’s Pep-Start family, the Double Bubble Purifying Mask which is available in the UK TOMORROW (15th September)
I had the pleasure of trying it out last week when I was invited by Clinique to attend their preview event for Norwich bloggers. It was such a rainy day so I whipped out my most autumnal outfit to date..
The bubble theme afternoon tea spread put on by Jarrolds really ‘blew’ me away too!
Everything was so carefully thought out to stay in tune with the bubble theme, the white chocolate balls even had another chocolate surprise inside! (I definitely needed to give my skin a treat after all these sweet treats though!)
But that’s enough about the food, let’s chat about this unbelievabubble product!
(OK wait, just one more photo of the food as there was even a snapchat filter..)
First and foremost, it’s pink. Once you’re over that excitement, you just ‘pop’ this pink gel on in an even layer over your face and only have to wait 2 minutes as you watch the bubbles develop before washing away the impurities brought out by the dirt lifting bubbles. I literally never get round to doing face masks because of the time commitment, so this is a major benefit of the product. (And yes I am aware of how lazy that sounds!)
It definitely left my skin feeling super soft and refreshed so I like to think it worked but it’s always so tricky to tell from one application.
Another great thing about it, is that it won’t ‘burst’ the bank (£24) I do have a feeling I’ll use mine up pretty quickly as it’s so much more fun than just washing my face and I found myself using a fair bit each time to make sure every inch of my face was covered in bubbles!
Be sure to check out my first impressions video over on Youtube if you want to find out more or maybe you just want to hear my attempt at singing Blue’s song ‘bubblin’…
Hit me up if you have any specific questions about the product too, I’d love to help!
