The Things You Need To Know About Poundland’s New Clothing Range: Pep & Co.

Now don’t get me wrong I’m a sucker for a sale and I love buying my PB oreos and Loveheart candles from Poundland but when I first heard the news that they were selling clothes I laughed!

I soon discovered they wouldn’t be retailing at a mere pound though although you can actually still get some of the kids range such as babygrows for £1. While the rest of the range is slightly pricier I still managed to pick out a couple of outfits for under £20.

‘Work It’ Workout Wear

Now there’s really no excuse not to work out even if you whip out the old school ‘I forgot my kit’ reason, you can just pop into pound land and get kitted out quick! Now I’m not saying these are the height of fitness fashion but for the price they’re great.

I mean I’m pretty sure this slogan is a blatant rip off of a well-known fitness brand but they’re a fraction of the price so let’s keep quiet. Being forever fearful of VPL (Visible Panty Line for any innocents out there) I was dubious of the quality and to be fair they are preeeetty see-through so stay away unless you want people staring whilst you ‘work it’  ( Leggings £5)

The NYC Cap for £3 is perfect for hiding any gym related blunders (nope just me?) ‘butt’ then the £5 bright coral tee counteracts any such camouflage although it’s such a flattering fit that I don’t mind.

I can’t remember exactly how much the trainers were but definitely around the tenner mark and then the classic black zip up hoodie was only a fiver and it even has a cute grey contrast hood lining!

I also styled these with more of a  transitional feel for the times you want to leave the house but pjs aren’t quite acceptable so you go for the ‘active’wear look..

Ok c’mon if it weren’t for the obvious lack of a tall section you seriously couldn’t tell this outfit was from Poundland!? (Please just pretend anyway, or is that too much of a tall order..sorrynotsorry) The cliche choker tee is so much cheaper than competitor options making it almost acceptable to own (£6). Obvi the jeans are slightly too short for me which is why they’re now happily in my sister’s wardrobe but the knee rips are surprisingly well placed and I just can’t believe how on trend they are with the distressed hem. Well played Pep&Co.
